A former candidate for judge in the Butler County Court of Common Pleas has announced a write-in campaign for the seat this fall.
Jennifer Gilliland-Vanasdale of Cranberry Township said in a Facebook post last night that she would be actively seeking the seat as a write-in candidate.
During the spring’s cross-filed primary, William “Wink” Robinson won the nomination for both parties, making him the only candidate that will appear on the November ballot.
Vanasdale had initially filed for a recount after losing the Democratic primary by six votes.
