A man with an outstanding warrant out of Butler County was arrested Sunday when the cruise ship he was a passenger on docked in Baltimore.
Christopher Main, 28, of Beaver County was wanted on a bench warrant for missing several hearings stemming from a 2008 theft charge, according to court records.
Custom officials confirmed with officials in Butler that the warrant remained active and that Main was a wanted man. When his Carnival Pride ship docked at the end of an excursion, he was handcuffed.
Customs Director at the Port of Baltimore Dianna Bowman said the lesson is those with outstanding arrest warrants should know that border protection officers will identify offenders upon arrival to the U.S. and return you to custody to face charges.
