A program Friday will focus on the health of local women veterans.
VA Butler Healthcare is sponsoring the third annual Winter Women’s Wellness event Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Butler’s Brushes and Barstools Painting Studio.
The day will include information about VA programs and services, as well as painting instruction and a completed painting for women veterans to take home.
Those attending are invited to wear red to bring attention to heart disease, which is the leading cause of death among women.
