The newest health care center for veterans in Butler County will open in less than one month.
Construction on VA Butler’s Health Care Center is complete and will begin receiving patients on Sept. 5.
The two-story building on North Duffy Road in Center Township will provide services including mental health, dental, pathology, radiology, physical rehab and women’s health. There will also be a focus on using technology to facilitate care- including things like video and audio conferencing.
The Health Care Center will be about a-mile-and-a-half from the existing VA campus in Butler Township. That facility will remain open.
