With Veterans Day less than two weeks away, VA Butler Healthcare is kicking off Veterans Month with a special event this week.
All veterans and family members are invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, Nov. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the main lobby of the Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center on Duffy Road in Center Township. The facility just opened earlier this year.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to tour the new facility and talk to VA staff as well as learn more about VA programs, services and benefits. Light refreshments will also be available.
Additional events will be held by the VA throughout the month of November to recognize and honor area veterans.
