Kentucky junior Jensen Castle won the U.S. Women’s Amateur Sunday in a 36-hole final with a 2-and-1 victory over Vivian Hou at Westchester Country Club in New York. Castle had won a playoff last Tuesday to get into the 64-player field as the 63rd seed. She also survived a thrilling extra-hole semifinal match over Rachel Heck of Stanford.
