There have been a growing number of COVID cases this week in Butler County.
According to Department of Health data, over the last seven day reporting period Butler County had 308 new COVID cases—that’s up 166 compared the previous week.
The CDC still considers Butler County in the low transmission level.
Local hospitalizations and deaths have remained low though, with Butler Memorial Hospital treating two patients for COVID earlier this week.
Statewide hospitalizations have also held steady at just over 1,000.
