President of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township has been appointed to the county’s sports commission to help attract events to choose Butler as their next destination.
Richard Hixon will serve as an ambassador on the Butler County Sports Commission. He’ll assist the group in promoting Butler County as a premier sports destination.
The Butler County Sports Commission was founded by the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau last year to both help the athletic industry grow within the county and solidify Butler as a premier hotspot destination for regional and national sporting events.
