The annual Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is taking place this weekend which means road closures around downtown Butler.
Parking on Main Street, in all alleys and on adjacent streets to Main will be restricted beginning at 3 p.m. Friday. Main Street traffic will be diverted onto Washington and McKean streets.
Jeeps will begin parking on Main Street at 5 p.m. for the event’s jeep invasion. More than 1,200 jeeps are expected downtown.
The invasion will end at 10 p.m. and downtown streets will reopen as soon as the jeeps have cleared.
