Unseasonably cold air is in place for one more day.
The National Weather Service says northeast winds around an area of low pressure along the eastern seaboard is continuing to pull chilly air and clouds into western Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
High temperatures will struggle to go into the 60s across much of the region. Patchy drizzle and isolated showers are also possibly today.
But, temperatures will begin to turn the corner Thursday, touching into the 70s. Summer heat makes it way in this weekend, with highs in the 80s and humidity starting Sunday and running through much of next week.
