Two women from the area are vying for a chance to become Miss Pennsylvania after winning a local competition this weekend.
Madison Morrow was named Miss Butler County and Rebecca Wright took home the title of Miss Moraine State yesterday at the Vagabond Center in Lyndora.
The competition saw seven contestants vying for the title. Morrow performed speed painting as her talent, and Wright played piano.
The two women also won scholarship money for their college education.
The group is also hosting a chocolate and beyond fundraising event on April 3 at Butler Vagabonds.
