From the second play of the game it was all over for the Knoch Knights, as they allowed a 78-yard touchdown run by the West Mifflin running back Howie Reid enroot to a 42-0 victory for West Mifflin over Knoch. On the very first play of the second series for West Mifflin, running back Howie Reid ran for a 77-yard touchdown run giving West Mifflin a 14-0 lead. West Mifflin then threw two touchdown passes on the next two possessions they had in the first quarter to give them a lead of 28-0. In the second quarter, West Mifflin threw two more touchdown passes to extend their lead to 42-0. The game ended prematurely because of lighting, the game ended at the 2:56 mark of the third quarter. West Mifflin’s starting Quarterback Garry Galyas threw for four touchdown passes in the game to two different receivers. Knoch now moves two 0-2 on the season, they are back into conference play next week as they take on Highlands in Saxonburg.
