Two suspects are in custody following a burglary that occurred last week in nearby Lawrence County.
According to State Police, authorities were called to a burglary in progress just after midnight on Thursday (March 19th) at a home on Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township.
During their investigation, police say that a 30-year-old Ellwood City man and a 29-year-old New Castle woman were taken into custody. It is believed that the two suspects were involved in other recent thefts, including one that involved a vehicle that was stolen in a nearby area.
Anyone in the Slippery Rock Township area who may have experienced a similar situation is asked to contact the Pennsylvania State Police.
