The 116th Western Pennsylvania Golf Association Open Championship began yesterday at Valley Brook Country Club in Canonsburg. Devin Gee and Daniel Obremski lead five other players by one stroke after opening rounds of 4-under 68. One of the players one stroke back is Butler’s Rob McClellan.
The first round of the British Open will begin Thursday at the 131-year old Royal Portrush course in Northern Ireland. First tee times will begin tomorrow at 1:35am eastern.
