The Butler Area School Board has a couple new faces following this year’s annual reorganization meeting.
New board members Alice Nunes and Gary Shingleton were seated for four-year terms to replace outgoing members Neil Convery and David Korn. Board members Al Vavro and John Conrad will each continue on the board for another four-year term.
By an unanimous vote, Nina Teff was re-elected President and Jennifer Cummings was chosen to continue as Vice President of the 2018 board.
The board also decided to make a change to their committee meetings with all committees combined into a Committee of the Whole meeting that will meet at 6 p.m. before each twice-monthly regular board meeting at 7:30 p.m.
