Local hospitalization rates connected to COVID-19 again dropped slightly although two more people have died locally at Butler Memorial Hospital over the past week as a result of COVID-19 infection.
The Butler Health System reported two deaths to the state on Wednesday.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Monday morning five patients were hospitalized with COVID at Butler Memorial Hospital with none of those in the ICU.
This is one fewer COVID patients hospitalized and one fewer COVID patients in the ICU compared to last Monday.
