Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Penn Township Sunday.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. on Route 8 near the intersection with Dodds Road.
Dispatchers say two vehicles collided head-on, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
One person was flown to a Pittsburgh trauma center; another person went to an area hospital by ambulance.
Crews were on the scene for about an hour. Other details on the crash were not immediately available.
