Two people are recovering from significant injuries after a three car crash in Mercer County Friday night.
The State Police in Mercer say that just after 7pm Friday, a car driven by an unknown driver was traveling on Methodist Road in Salem Township when it crashed head on into a car driven by 25-year-old Tamara Bucher of Transfer. Authorities say that a third car driven by 23-year-old Ashleigh Chess of Greenville couldn’t avoid the two cars, and crashed as well.
Officials say that the drivers from the first two cars suffered major injuries, and were taken by helicopter to St. Elizabeth’s in Youngstown Ohio. Chess was uninjured.
The State Police say that all three cars were totaled.
