Two people were taken to the hospital after a crash yesterday in Clearfield Township.
The three vehicle accident happened around 6:40 a.m. on Old East Route 422 near the intersection with South Clearfield Road.
Police say 18-year-old Brian Bellas of Kittanning failed to stop at a stop sign and hit another vehicle causing it to go through the intersection. That vehicle then collided with an SUV driven by 24-year-old Scarlet Lewis of Fenelton.
A total of four people were involved in the crash, but Bellas and Lewis were both taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries.
