Minor injuries were reported following a one car crash that occurred late last week in nearby Lawrence County.
According to State Police, 18-year-old Emilie Homjak of New Castle was traveling on Interstate 376 in Union Township just before noon on Friday (November 2nd) when she lost control of her vehicle.
Authorities say that Homjak’s vehicle then struck a guide rail before crossing over other traffic lanes and traveled through the center median before striking another guiderail.
Police say that Homjak, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered suspected minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
A passenger in Homjak’s car, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was also transported to a local hospital for treatment of suspected minor injuries.
