A couple local women have been charged following two different incidents of assault at Butler Memorial Hospital last month.
According to Butler Township Police, the first incident occurred just before 8 p.m. March 11th when officers were called to the hospital. They found that 22-year-old Lanaya Barnes of Butler had allegedly struck two nurses, leaving one victim with a head contusion.
The second incident occurred just before 6 a.m. on March 19th at the Butler Memorial Hospital ER. Officers say that an “out of control” patient later identified as 31-year-old Hilary Knisely of Petrolia allegedly assaulted two nurses.
Both women have been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
