First responders were busy with a couple of accidents around Butler County Tuesday afternoon.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 1:30 p.m. for an accident involving a motorcycle on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. Crews from Harmony Fire District and EMS responded to the scene near milemarker 87 to find a male with a back injury.
The second crash was reported just before 2:30 p.m. on West Sunbury Road in Center Township. Crews from Unionville and West Sunbury were among those responding to find a vehicle into a tree. Both a man and a child sustained injuries that required treatment. A helicopter was also called to that scene for transport of at least one injured person.
The cause of the crashes and the condition of those involved are unknown at this time.
