Community members are encouraged to help a critically low blood supply through participation in a couple of upcoming blood drives.
The American Red Cross drive is coming up Monday from 12:30 to 6 p.m. at The Atrium in Prospect. Anyone able to donate should make an appointment through the website of the American Red Cross, the Red Cross Blood Donor App, or by calling 1-800-RED-CROSS.
Another collection is being held on Monday, this one by Vitalant from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Karns City High School. Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program at a $10 gift card as well as a chance to win one of five $5,000 gift cards.
