Travelers should be aware of an upcoming closure of part of the PA Turnpike.
An 86 mile stretch of the turnpike between the Breezewood and New Stanton interchanges will close beginning at 9 a.m. Wednesday and lasting for what is expected to be three hours.
The closure is taking place to allow crews access to a tractor trailer that went over an embankment in Bedford County during last weekend’s winter storm.
Traffic will be detoured off the road at Breezewood and follow I-70 east and Route 119 north to get back on at New Stanton.
