Turnpike fees will be going up once again.
Officials with the Pennsylvania Turnpike approved yet another increase in tolls for the roadway.
The commission approved a 5% increase on Tuesday, although the changes will not take place until January of 2023.
According to PA Turnpike officials, the most common toll for E-ZPass drivers will increase by 10 cents to land at $1.80. For Toll-by-Plate customers, this means a 30 cent increase moving that price up to $4.40.
A class-5 tractor trailer will pay 70 cents more as that cost will increase from $13.70 to $14.40 for E-ZPass. Truckers using Toll-by-Plate will see rates move from $28 to $29.40.
