One more person in Butler County has died as a result of COVID-19, bringing the total number of deaths in the county to six.
However, there was only one new confirmed case of COVID-19 on Tuesday—bringing the total to 162.
There has only been a slight increase in the number of positive cases in Butler County over the last few days. There hasn’t been a double digit increase in the number of cases since April 13th.
However the death toll continues to climb across Pennsylvania, with more than 1,500 people now having died due to complications from the coronavirus.
The state says there are just over 34,500 confirmed cases total and about 132,000 negative tests.
