Pennsylvania’s Secretary of State and county election boards are now facing a federal lawsuit from local Congressmen and President Trump’s re-election campaign.
The Associated Press is reporting that Representatives Mike Kelly and Glenn Thompson are joining the lawsuit which alleges that parts of the new election laws that the state passed earlier this year are illegal.
It specifically targets procedures regarding mail-in ballots.
The defendants offered no comment, but officials with Pennsylvania’s Democratic Party said the lawsuit was an effort to suppress voting.
