Martin Truex, Jr. won the Nascar race at Martinsville Sunday, clinching a spot in the final four who will race for the Cup Series championship at Homestead in three weeks. He led 464 of the 500 laps in the race. It will be the third consecutive year Truex has run for the title. William Byron was the runner-up. Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano were involved in an on-track incident during the race, which evolved into a pit-road clash after the race.
Hamlin, Kyle Busch and Logano remain in the top four in points. Kevin Harvick is fifth, 14 points behind Logano. Ryan Blaney is 15 points back.
