Northern areas of Butler County dealt with snowy conditions yesterday, which led to a tractor trailer crashing into the Allegheny River.
Dispatchers say the accident happened yesterday around 4 p.m. at the Foxburg Bridge, which is on Route 58.
Images from the scene show the front-end of the tractor trailer into the river, with the rest of the trailer on the hillside. It also appears that road conditions were snowy. The driver’s current condition is not known.
There were also a few accidents that led emergency crews to shut down I-80.
