Tomorrow kicks off the beginning of trout season.
The Fish and Boat Commission is expecting a big turnout as they stay with the concept of a single statewide opening day. For the last two years due to the pandemic, the commission had stopped staggered starts to the season.
They say response to that move was positive, making them fully commit to the single day opening.
In fact, for the past two years, the number of anglers during trout season has increased significantly according to the commission.
