Jury selection is set to begin today in the trial of an Armstrong County man accused of escaping jail and killing a woman.
Robert Crissman Jr., 39, was distributing food trays unsupervised last July when he allegedly walked out of an unlocked door at the Armstrong County Jail.
He’s then accused of walking about a mile to the home of Tammy Long, 55, of Rayburn Township and strangling her.
Crissman was caught the next morning after a 7-mile police chase.
