As we gear toward the spring, travel experts are feeling optimistic about the industry.
With the pandemic hanging over the last two years of travel, Carrie Lepore of the PA Department of Community and Economic Development says a new study reveals that Americans are ready to go.
According to a survey of potential travelers, only 24 percent indicated that the coronavirus would greatly impact their travel decisions in the next six months,” Lepore said. “Only 10 percent of those surveyed said that they are choosing not to travel at all, and a mere seven percent said they were canceling plans.”
Lepore says between domestic and international travel increasing, there will be a positive economic impact to Pennsylvania.
She says tourists coming to the Keystone State can expect to enjoy themselves based on their comfort level.
