Motorists are asked to be aware of the next step in a significant road project on Route 228 beginning today.
PennDOT says traffic disruptions are expected near the intersection of Route 8 and Route 228 Tuesday through Thursday.
Intermittent traffic stoppages are expected between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day to allow for sections of box culverts to be delivered.
Drivers should plan for brief traffic stops or slowing in order to allow tracks access to the area where the culverts are being delivered.
The overall cost for this project is $26.5 million and it is expected to be completed in three years.
