A truck driver has been charged after he left his tractor trailer on railroad tracks in Grove City late last month.
The Grove City Police say that around 7:15pm on March 25th, Timothy Drayton of Cylmer, New York was driving his rig on South Center Street when he approached an active railroad crossing and drove through it, damaging a crossing arm.
Authorities say that when they arrived to the scene approximately seven minutes later, Drayton’s tractor trailer was left on the railroad tracks unattended.
Drayton was cited by police for Accidents Involving Damage to Unattended Vehicle or Property.
