Butler County, along with several surrounding counties, were under a Tornado Warning Saturday night after a tornado touched down near Slippery Rock.
Our news partners at KDKA say that law enforcement officials, along with a trained spotter, saw the tornado touch down about 11 miles east of Slippery Rock around 7:50pm. The tornado was reportedly traveling at 30 miles per hour.
No injuries or damages were immediately known. Other counties included in the warning included Clarion, Venango, and Armstrong.
