PennDOT officials are reminding drivers that a 5 percent increase is set to go into effect just after midnight Sunday.
Rates have continually gone up since 2009 as the turnpike commission is required to pay debt-services to the state for other transportation projects.
The price jump is cheaper for those who have an EZ Pass compared to those who make toll by plate payments.
