A local man is facing charges after an incident with a toddler on the roof.
According to a criminal complaint, police responded to a house in the 100 block of Standard Avenue Monday afternoon (2/8) where they found a 2-year-old child on the roof of the porch, about 20 feet off the ground.
When they entered the residence, police located 26-year-old Harrison Daniels asleep in an upstairs bedroom. Once the child was safe, police were able to wake Daniels and determine that he was the child’s uncle. The child’s mother was not at home. Police found a marijuana pipe and grinder with residue near Daniels’ bed.
Daniels was charged with misdemeanor Endangering the Welfare of Children and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He will have a hearing March 7th.
