A Tire Recycling Day for area residents is scheduled for this weekend.
This Saturday, May 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tires can be dropped off at the Forward Township Municipal Building located at 207 Ash Stop Road in Evans City.
Participants will have to pay a small fee per tire that they wish to dispose of. It will cost participants $2 per passenger vehicle tires, $3 for light pickup truck tires, and $5 for tires on rims. A limit of 12 tires per person will be accepted and all payment must be made in cash.
