Pirates play-by-play announcer Time Neverett has left the Bucs to become the radio voice of the Boston Red Sox in his native New England.
Neverett called games on radio and TV for the Pirates over the last seven years.
Neverett went to college at Emerson College in Massachusetts and grew up in the New England area.
Pirates president Frank Coonelly said the organization has already begun their search for a new broadcaster.
