Tim McGraw is juggling several projects these days — recording a new album, traveling around the country on his Shotgun Rider tour, filming the new movie, The Shack, and working on a new TV series. Tim tells us that he’s very excited about the character he’ll be playing on the small screen. “I’m working on, we’re writing right now, we’re writing a series calledRobbers where I’m gonna play a really bad guy. It’s still in the working stages right now. We’re just doing writing and stuff, but if it all comes together it’s gonna be a lot a fun. It’s fun to play a bad guy. You get to sort of step outside yourself a little bit.”
The new crime drama will air on TNT, and Tim will also serve as a producer on the show. There’s no information yet on when Robbers will debut on the network.

- Tim is playing a full weekend of shows on his Shotgun Rider tour with dates on Friday (July 24th) and Saturday (July 25th) in Kansas and Iowa, respectively, this weekend.
