There were two new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Thursday.
This now marks more than a week of daily reports where the number of new cases were in single digits.
Statewide, there were 221 new cases, which is slightly above the average number of cases so far this week in Pennsylvania. There were also 15 additional deaths.
Hospitalizations in Pennsylvania are continuing to go down with 380 people receiving treatment. Our newsroom has not heard from Butler Health System this week about local hospital numbers—but according to the state’s website, there are currently no patients receiving treatment for COVID-19 in Butler County.
