Several people were injured as a result of two different multiple vehicle accidents in southern Butler County Thursday afternoon.
The first call came in around 2:30 for a three vehicle crash on Rochester Road in Cranberry Township. At least one person is thought to have an eye injury as a result of that crash.
The second call came in just before 3 p.m. also for a three vehicle collision. This one occurred on Route 228 in Middlesex Township and at least one person was complaining of back pain.
Allegheny County sent a crew to help with the second accident due to a fire also going on in the area at the time. Traffic is delayed while cleanup continues.
