The Pittsburgh Steelers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day 29-10 and the Baltimore Ravens beat the Houston Texans 31-2. The Steelers are now in second place in the AFC North. The Chiefs clinched the number one seed and first round bye for the playoffs with the win. The Steelers will host the Cincinnati Bengals January 5th to close out the regular season.
There are three bowl games today. The Pitt Panthers take on Toledo in The Game Above Sports Bowl at 2pm, Kansas State and Rutgers play in the Rate Bowl in Phoenix. Their kickoff is 5:30pm. The 68 Ventures Bowl in Mobile, Alabama has Arkansas State vs. Bowling Green at 9pm. All 3 games are being televised on ESPN.
The Pittsburgh Penguins play back-to-back games Saturday and Sunday against the New York Islanders. They are on the road Saturday with a 7:30pm faceoff and then they host the Islanders at 5:30pm Sunday.
