The Nascar Sprint Cup Series will crown its 68th champion Sunday following the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead/Miami Speedway. Defending series champion Kyle Busch, six-time series champion Jimmie Johnson, Joey Logano and Carl Edwards are the drivers eligible to win the championship Sunday. Johnson has a chance to tie Richard Petty and the late Dale Earnhardt with a record-tying seventh championship.
The X-Finity Series will race Saturday. Rookie Erik Jones and Daniel Suarez from Joe Gibbs Racing, and Justin Allgaier and Elliott Sadler from Junior Motorsports will race for the championship.
The Camping World Truck Series will run its final race tonight. Four different teams are represented in The Championship Four: G-M-S Racing with veteran driver Johnny Sauter, Kyle Busch Motorsports with rookie Christopher Bell behind the wheel, Red Horse Racing (Timothy Peters) and ThorSport Racing (Matt Crafton) … And it’s Crafton who’ll be gunning for his third title in four years.
