Students from three more districts in Butler County head back to school today.
It’s the first day of school for Freeport, Knoch, and Moniteau.
As we’ve reported, this is the first year for the newly renamed Knoch School District.
In addition to the new name, there are also a number of construction projects on tap for the district this year.
One of the biggest is the renovation of the football field, which includes installation of new field turf. But, that will prohibit the Knights from playing home games this year. All of their games will be on the road—including some being played at Butler Senior High.
