Three young men are in the Butler County Prison on attempted homicide charges after an alleged shooting in Cherry Township.
According to a criminal complaint, multiple shots were fired at 19-year-old Hunter Grossman yesterday afternoon around 1:30 at his home on New Hope Road.
Police say that Grossman was arguing online with 19-year-old Adam Rodgers of Chicora—who was dating Grossman’s ex-girlfriend.
The two agreed to fight in which Rodgers showed up with a gun. He began shooting at Grossman, before calling for a get-away car, which police say was occupied by 19-year-old Henry Leroy of East Brady and 17-year-old Tyler Martin of Slippery Rock.
Police say Grossman was not injured in the shooting.
After an investigation, police arrested the three men and placed them in the Butler County Prison.
