Three Butler County district magistrates are now in their final days before heading to retirement.
William O’Donnell of Slippery Rock, David Kovach of Cranberry, and Wayne Seibel of Evans City are all leaving the bench at the end of the year.
Between the three men, they have served as district magistrates for more than 40 years collectively.
Attorney Joe Nash will be taking over as District Magistrate in Slippery Rock, former TV reporter Amy Marcinkiewicz will replace Seibel in Evans City, and public defender Kevin Flaherty will move into Kovach’s seat in Cranberry.
