Several thousand residents in Butler County are still without power following the winter storm last Thursday.
West Penn Power was still reporting over 3,000 outages in the county on Monday afternoon.
The areas with the highest outages are Butler, Center, Clay, Connoquenessing, Penn, Middlesex, Jefferson, Fairview, Donegal, Concord and Buffalo townships. Officials hope to have all power restored by 10 p.m. Monday.
Central Electric Cooperative is still reporting nearly 3,000 outages to customers in Butler County.
CEC says four additional crews from other cooperatives have arrived to help in our area. Because of the severity of the damage, total power restoration of all members could be as late as Wednesday.
