Harmony is gearing up for its annual German-inspired New Year’s Eve celebration called Silvester.
Activities will begin at noon on Saturday and culminate with a ball drop and fireworks. What makes this event different than most is that the ‘New Year’ will be celebrated on German time- meaning 6 p.m. for us here.
Thousands are expected in Harmony to celebrate Silvester. The event is free but there are some costs associated with certain activities. Proceeds from those costs support the Harmony Museum and Harmony’s parks.
