The Presidents Athletic Conference held their annual Media Day Wednesday. Thomas More is the pre-season favorite. The Saints were 9-2 last year, and went 8-0 in conference play. Thomas More has won at least a share of the conference title for eight of the past nine seasons. Washington & Jefferson has been picked to finish second, followed by Case Western and Westminster.The Pittsburgh Steelers have waived tight end Scott Orndoff, who played college football at Pitt and for Seton LaSalle high school.
The NFL pre-season begins tonight in Canton, Ohio with the annual “Hall of Fame” game. The Dallas Cowboys will face the Arizona Cardinals at 8pm. The game will be televised locally on WPXI.
